I'd loooove to see the environmental version of Discs of Tron at the next SC3 event. It's just one of those cabinets that everybody should get to experience at least once in their lives. Totally understandable if nobody can track one down. So if that doesn't work, I'd love to see the big 6-player version of the X-Men arcade game. Having 6 of us all playing at once would be a total blast.

Other than that, I'd suggest a screening of "The Bishop of Battle" starring Emilio Estevez from the horror anthology film, "Nightmares". It's the classic short story in which Emilio goes up against a killer computer game and eventually gets sucked right into it! It's vector graphics galore and a real fun flick for any fan of classic arcade games.

Anybody else remember it?
I know Jason has a Discs of Tron but its the non-environmental cab. He's already bringing a Gravitar so I'll talk to him about bringing his DOT to SC3.

Bishop of Battle is a pretty would be pretty cool to show on the big screen. I think I may know someone who has a copy of it on DVD. I'll see what I can do.

The cake will always be a secret until the big reveal. That's part of the fun of it; and yes, we've already decided what it'll be! :D

Have you been to our past events?

We will have a trade corner, where people bring stuff to trade or sell. We have a food corner where there is a supply of food and drinks. There's a garage and patio full of arcade games on free play. There's a row of consoles where we have lots of 80's era consoles & computers set up. We'll have a killer Rockband 2 setup on a large HDTV.

And then, there's the cake. Each cake had a theme:

Cake #0: Mr. & Ms. Pac-Man

If there's *one* game we'd try to move Heaven and Earth to get in the back and make an exception for, it's DOT. But I'm not sure if any of our arcade contributors have one.

Bishop of Battle? That might be a decent Cheesey B-roll video for the future. Where would we get it?
Cool, I'd love to see the environmental Discs of Tron if possible. Last time I played it was at Super Bear Arcade up at Big Bear Mountain (great retro arcade in case you've never been btw... totally worth the trip up there).

As for Bishop of Battle, it's part of a horror anthology called "Nightmares". I'm pretty sure it's still on DVD.
